Rzeszów/Praca. Safran Aircraft Engines Poland w Sędziszowie Małopolskim to dynamicznie rozwijająca się firma z Doliny Lotniczej, działająca od 2017 roku.

Zatrudnia ponad 300 osób i produkuje łopatki turbin do silników LEAP-1A i LEAP-1B.

W 2023 roku, we współpracy z oddziałem w Rzeszowie, uruchomiono Centrum Badawczo-Rozwojowe, które zatrudni ponad 250 inżynierów do pracy nad symulacjami podzespołów silników lotniczych.

Aerodynamics Engineer

Your responsibilities

  • The team responsibility is aero design of the jet engine from individual part through engine systems integration (Core & SAS – Turbine, Compressor, Externals) for various engine components.
  • You will participate in aero design of ducted and unducted engine architectures intended for advanced civil applications. This work will be carried out in close collaboration with international group of experts, including the aero-acoustics, thermal and mechanical engineering offices, as well as the teams responsible for integration of the modules.
  • You will also support the implementation of maturation plans for these technologies, through the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of test results.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for conducting CFD studies in our exciting projects (eg. RISE), preparing and interpreting test results to verify the aerodynamic performance of components.
  • These tests may be conducted on wind tunnel models and/or actual engines on test stands.

  • Run technical analyses in support of new technologies development
  • Develop other members of the team by providing technical expertise in the area of responsibility
  • Participate in the overall design of the engine at all phases, from concept to monitoring of engines in service
  • Day-to-day cooperation with internal and external stakeholders from R&D office at various stages of the project, from concept to change in definition
  • Support Technical Leader in agreeing the new activities, defining deadlines, tracking and reporting work progress in direct contact with internal stakeholders
  • Support definition of roadmap for development of the team and its competences

Requirements

  • Language: English, B2

  • In-depth understanding of fluid mechanics theory
  • Professional experience within fluid mechanics
  • CFD simulation experience (Ansys FLUENT or other – ELSA, Cannelle) ideally in stationary, unsteady, and aeroelastic calculations
  • 3-7 years of professional experience (mid position)
  • 7+ years of professional experience (senior position)

Aero-Acoustics Engineer

Your responsibilities

  • The team responsibility is aero-acoustic design of the jet engine in charge of the acoustic design of the propulsion system modules and noise reduction technologies.
  • You will participate in aero-acoustic design of ducted and unducted engine architectures intended for advanced civil applications. This work will be carried out in close collaboration with international group of experts, including the aerodynamic, thermal and mechanical engineering offices, as well as the teams responsible for integration of the modules.
  • You will also support the implementation of maturation plans for these technologies, through the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of test results.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for the design studies and acoustic evaluation of blades for shrouded and unshrouded fans. You will also contribute to the development plan for these technologies, including the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of partial aerodynamic and acoustic tests at the model scale.

Thermal Engineer

Your responsibilities

  • Aero & Thermal Team of Research & Development Centre of Safran Aircraft Engines Poland has a wide spectrum of responsibility, projects, tools and methods used which will allow for your continuous long-term development.
  • The team has responsibility for the thermal design of the engine: from individual part through engine systems integration (Core & SAS, Turbine, Compressor, Externals) for all engine components.
  • Successful candidates will participate in thermal design of existing and next generation engine architectures intended for civil aircraft. Working in close collaboration with an international group of experts including aerodynamic, aeroacoustics and mechanical engineering. As well as the teams responsible for integration of the modules.
  • You will support the Life Cycle of the Engine from early schemes to chosen design to test validation and including in service support.
  • Perform technical / CFD analyses in support of next generation Engine development using technical expertise in the area of responsibility.
  • Participate in the overall design of the engine at all phases, from concept to design through production and including monitoring of engines in service.
  • Day-to-day cooperation with internal and external stakeholders from R&D office and international partners at various stages of the project, from concept to change in definition.
  • Support the roadmap of team continuous development regarding competences and responsibilities.
  • Senior Engineers will review each delivery for its technical content and mentor members of the team. As well as support Technical Leader in agreeing the new activities, defining deadlines, tracking and reporting work progress in direct contact with internal stakeholders, identifying team skills and training needs.

Simulation Engineer FEA

Your responsibilities

  • Preparation of strength analyses (static, LCF, HCF, fatigue, overspeed, FBO, crack propagation) of aero engine components (Compressor, Combustion Chamber, Turbine – Static / Rotative Parts) using FEA (Ansys Workbench) and analytical methods
  • Assessment of non-conformities related to aero engine components and their effects on the product
  • Technical validation (authorization for approval) of Concessions related with visual, dimensional and process non-conformities of aero engines components
  • Support Technical Leader in creation and deployment of technical and organizational processes, instructions, best practices, lessons learnt
  • Day-to-day cooperation with internal and external stakeholders from design, technology, quality and manufacturing at various stages of implementation and serial production
  • Technical support to other departments for process improvement
  • Defining technical solutions (request for drawing change, Production Permit, process optimization) to eliminate non-conformities on products
  • On-job technical support to other members of the Design Office

Requirements
