What if design could offer comfort when words are hard to find?
On May 24, during the “Mamy Wolne” festival in Kraków, Hanna Pitala, Graphic Designer at Admind, will speak about a project close to our hearts: Powitalnik — a guide created to support parents and professionals when facing a child’s diagnosis of disability, illness, or special needs.
Developed in collaboration with Stowarzyszenie Mudita, Admind Branding & Communications, and Mustela Polska, Powitalnik is more than a publication — it’s an act of care, designed with empathy and intention.
At Admind, we contributed what we do best: we designed and prepared Powitalnik for print and continue to support communication around this important initiative. We also brought together 11 of Poland’s top female illustrators to enrich it visually — and we’ll be introducing them to you soon.
Powitalnik will be launched on June 10 and will be distributed across medical institutions throughout Poland.
This isn’t our first socially-driven initiative. At Admind, we believe design has the power to change the world and open hearts. And we’re honored to be part of projects that do just that.
Powitalnik, initiated by Stowarzyszenie Mudita, is a social innovation developed and expanded with the support of Inkubator Pomysłów – a program that enables the creation and testing of solutions promoting social inclusion for those at risk of exclusion.
